This year I’m thankful for…

My biological family—especially my beautiful and fabulously intelligent (if video game obsessed) eight-year-old son and my tirelessly helpful family (without whom Dolittler would get only weekly attention).

My adopted family—my perfect little Sophie Sue (of course), my colleagues and staff at work (who riddle me with respect and only occasional wisecracks), and my terminally supportive boyfriend (who manages to keep me together when life starts cracking at the edges).

And for you, my Dolittler crowd, who read what I write and still come back every day to let me know exactly what you think. I cherish your words more than you know.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Give your pets a big hug and a kiss from me.
