P.S. If you have a client that has a cat that likes to eat noodles, don't freak if they call asking about how in a dogs name they got tapeworm when they don't have fleas, ect. LOL

One of my cats decided to be kind enough to yak up a hairball on the rug near the backdoor this evening. He couldn't have done it on the floor so I'd have an easier time cleaning it up...

As I was picking the mess up, I found what I initially thought were tapeworm segments. I spent 5 minutes asking him where he got tapeworm from as he's strictly indoors and none of the other animals have it, so I did what most pet owners would do, call my vet. Being the holiday and all, she wasn't around except for emergency calls and since I don't consider tapeworm to be a major emergency, I blew it off until tomorrow as I have to pick up some K/D for my mother's Jack Russell tomorrow morning anyway.

After I got off the phone, I looked in the kitchen sink. For lunch I had baked chicken and mixed veggies that had noodles in it. Since he likes to eat things from out of the sink ( and loves noodles of any kind) what I found in his hairball yak wasn't tapeworm segments, it was noodle bits.

I think if he had the ability, he would have flipped me the proverbial bird and gave me dirty looks as I insisted on calling him "The Worminator" after my big "worm" discovery. DOH!
