Actually, I think the *really* worrisome part is that we, as pet owners, end up paying for all these schmoozy dinners in the end. I'm not suggesting that vets don't deserve an amazing night out from time to time, but it really gets my hackles up that all the R&D and marketing ultimately get passed on to the consumer. I don't begrudge a single cent I pay for my pets, but I sure wish I got to spend more of them on frivolous things like toys and treats! :-)

Off topic, but I created a syndicated account on Livejournal for your blog, so if any of your readers want to read you that way, they can add the user "dolittler_blog" to their friends, or it's also at the below URL.

Tara: And it costs less than ten cents to make a two liter bottle of Coke. Where does it all go?
Zandperl: Much appreciated!

So ... will the drug reps now be bringing bagels to the practice every Wednesday? I stop some mornings at a bagel shop near one of the major MD ghettos. Wednesday morning they're busy packing up dozens of boxes with PharmCo labels on them, so the reps can take them to staff.

I see this a little differently. On the human side, reps tend to be feeding the Young and the Powerless. I know my interest in bad Chinese food and the wonders of new drugs for heart disease dropped simultaneously to zero on the day I landed a "real" job. And it didn't matter if they fed me, anyway... I'll never have a DEA number.

Thanks for a resourceful content. this is what i have been looking for so long. I don't get the idea why they start these kind of trial when the criminal are old. Perhaps this more personal form of accountability will deter future actors where the fear of international condemnation has not. Ed Hardy stores are located in many locations internationally including the Americas, Europe and Asia.
