I never thought myself particularly tacky, but my vanity plate-owner’s staus brings that fuzzy logic into question yet again. Who needs a personalized license plate? Perhaps someone with a less of a penchant for illegal left turns.
In school I knew this guy (whom we didn’t much admire) with a New York FUT-R VET plate. I know another here in town with FLEAS emblazoned on his bumper. People with vanity plates are typically well-described by them. (The vain part, anyway.)
At least the fifty bucks I spent on it (and the extra twenty-plus bucks a year for renewal) might actually feed a panther for a couple of days, though I doubt that highly.
What can I say? I couldn’t resist.

But the big question is, why Protect the Panther, not Marry the Manatee, Eat the Everglades...
Florida really has a crazy number of plates. How about...why not the "Animal Friend" one?
I wish they had a NATIVE one for real. I wonder why they haven't done that one?

I wanted Animal Friend but it only takes five letters. :-(
Plus, I'm into their captive breeding program and the Everglades bridge. I also love to camp and hike out there.

I must admit to being the owner of a Florida vanity plate too. I don't spend much on myself - my dogs are a different matter, but I did splurge on my plate. I own a PT Cruiser - hence the CRUSNPT license plate. What I dislike about the Florida plates is that if you want more than 5 characters on the plate, they end up being printed over some logo and are hard to read.

DANE RYD
Afterall, I drive a minivan only because of my dogs and I want people to know why. Because I swear I don't WANT to drive a minivan.

Wow! The vanity plates if Lforida are much more affordable than here in the midwest... it's roughly 175.00 for a vanity here....

Late to the party again but I have one too. Mine says WOOF. Being a dog trainer I wanted a non breed but dog related plate and this seems to do the trick. :-) I wish our state had a animal plate that raised funds for shelter pets. (spay and neuter fund would be great) I went with the veteran plate since I did 6 years in the USMC. (and the regular WOOF vanity was already taken)
If I ever get to Miami I'll be sure to look for your plate Dr. Patty. :-)

In 1981, ed hardy and his wife formed Hardy Marks Publications. In 2004, Christian Bale licensed the rights to produce the high-end Ed Hardy UK line, which is based on Hardy's imagery. Prior to the ed hardy clothing line, Bale was the Head Designer at Von Dutch Originals, which marketed the imagery of Kenny Howard. Don ed hardy, commented, As demand for my artwork continues to skyrocket, I felt it was ed hardy clothing time to take on a partner that could help me manage the demand and opportunities for the ed hardy T-shirts name. Iconix is at the forefront of brand management and clearly has the capabilities to dramatically grow the Ed Hardy UK business. I'm thrilled to have them as a partner. Cheap Ed Hardy are located in everywhere. We also believe that by owning the brand alongside ed hardy clothing, the founder, there will be opportunities to further leverage his iconic name along with his new artwork.
