In at least one case, it's Hills Science Diet Sensitive Stomach:

There's a link to the lab report, too.

Two of the three samples were Hill's. While shocked at the amount of contaminant and saddened by the thought of pet owners inadvertently poisoning their beloved pets, I am NOT surprised that it is Hill's at the center of this conspiracy. Just one more pharmaceutical company (don't kid yourself, that's what they are) doing whatever it has to to gain another wad of cash.

The worst is all the people telling me that their vet has assured them that the food THEY sell is not contaminated. My response is... Really? You tested EVERY bag? Surely common sense must outweigh greed at some point... wishful thinking I suppose.

As I write this, the Hill's truck has just pulled up outside the hospital's back door. I agree that no one should be claiming the food they sell is 100% safe. I tell all my clients--"that food you're using isn't on the list--yet. But keep watching and reading."

Remember that the FDA does not have the power to force a pet food company to recall its products. They only have the power to force a recall of pharmaceuticals. All food and pet food product recalls are *voluntary*. So much for safety of the food supply.

Dr. Patty -- that's the best any of us can say these days. It's always refreshing to see a vet who doesn't bow to the almighty Hill's. So many (not all!) vets accept what they were told in school (by Hill's, generally) and treat it as gospel for the rest of their careers.

We need more veterinarians properly trained in nutrition... if only we could find more available courses not taught by multi-million dollar food companies. :OP

In 1981, ed hardy and his wife formed Hardy Marks Publications. In 2004, Christian Bale licensed the rights to produce the high-end Ed Hardy UK line, which is based on Hardy's imagery. Prior to the ed hardy clothing line, Bale was the Head Designer at Von Dutch Originals, which marketed the imagery of Kenny Howard. Don ed hardy, commented, As demand for my artwork continues to skyrocket, I felt it was ed hardy clothing time to take on a partner that could help me manage the demand and opportunities for the ed hardy T-shirts name. Iconix is at the forefront of brand management and clearly has the capabilities to dramatically grow the Ed Hardy UK business. I'm thrilled to have them as a partner.
