Two is usually better than one. It's true in my experience with Border Collies. Easier, calmer, happier. Now I'm testing to see if 4 is better than 2. :c) !

So glad about this development! Sounds like being with each other makes them happy. Can't wait till someday I retire, move to a country plot, and can finally have pet goats! Congrats!

This gives me hope, that my dog who came from dubious circumstances will be able to fully blossom and start behaving more like a dog and less like a needy bundle of anxiety when I bring another dog into the family in June.

That is a great story - love the goat picture, they are so cute. I just bought a share in a wool CSA, she raises angora goats on Martha's Vineyard - and they are having babies. And she's posting photos. I'm. in. heaven! Baby goats!
