I blog on two subjects other than my work. I found it fascinating how both of these blogs found a readership and made me part of an online community. In my case what I got from it was being engaged in something complex and thought-provoking *other* than animals, animal people and their problems. I wouldn't give it up for anything. But then I'm single... ;)

That's what I'm talkin' about!

Patty, I just hope you don't "do an Itchmo" and go AWOL on us, your loyal audience. :)

Golly, here I thought I was just killing time on the internet and I find out I'm part of an ad hoc therapy group session. That's ok I guess. Gotta be more productive than virtually everything else I do on the internet.

Spill it Dr. K., we're listening. . .

I started bloggin' 'cause of a racehorse--Smarty Jones. Alpha Human Mom and me figured a canine could write a blog better than any equine. We did have some burnout and took about a year off. But with an election comin' up I had to get back into the fight, canine punditry bein' better than your average Sunday mornin' TV catfights. Besides, I like tellin' stories and AHM likes lettin' me make all the snarky observations. I can say pretty much whatever I want (within human reason) since, well, I'm a dog! Hmmmm...does that make me a therapy dog?

I'll admit this blog has become a daily addiction for me. I guess that makes it restorative both ways! I'd wondered what had become of my Itchmo emails... I'd assumed some large organization was behind it.

I love this site.....it's my morning treat when I first get to the office and everything is quiet and I have a mug of tea. SOmetimes I can only spare 2 minutes, sometimes 10. But I love it!

I have noticed it is a bit of a therapy session for some people, and you seem to take the barbs and insults with grace and humility.

Congrats on Telemundo! Was it scary? How did your spanish come together?
