I once had a well meaning taxi driver take me to the wrong convention. Both in Sheratons and both for vets... easy mistake to make ;)

The line "I just needed a little comfort, she's all I got" made tears well up. It is a sad comentary to our country that this man is a veteran and all he's got is his dog. When will we step up for past and present "Vet's"

Kathy: If you liked that line you'll love the short film (5 minutes) my sister produced on Jessie James and her man. I'll be showcasing it on Dolittler as soon as edits are complete.

Sometimes we all need to read a reminder of what pets really do mean to people. It's easy to contemplate and argue over what an a "pet dental" should cost and how much is too much.
Reality that many elderly, ill, poor, and misfortunate consider their pet their "entire" family. The love and companionship they derive has no dollar measure, and it is these folks that could truly benefit from charitable or subsidized veterinary care.

Thanks for sharing a great story.
