James: Is there any way to allow those who have been subscribed in the past to continue to receive their email subscrption without re-registering?

And--I assume it's temporary and you already know but I'll mention it anyway--the site looks wonky right now (7:30 PM Weds night).

Correction: The site looks wonky on Firefox (pics all in disarray). It looks fine on Safari. I don't have IE so dunno 'bout that one.

Due to the way I had to pull the data out of what essentially amounts to a static a mirror of the old site, I don't have the internal stuff behind the old site such as the subscriptions, so I can't do that even though I really would like to.

I think the delay might be because of your tech team, which, from the picture, looks to be comprised of a cat. Off to sign up for email updates!

Xslf: Just uncheck the subscribe to the newsletter box when you register.

Update: Had a bug that caused this not to work. I just checked the mail logs and saw nothing went out today. I think it's fixed. We'll see tomorrow. I have no idea why it didn't show up in my testing... Murphy's law?
