I count myself among the very lucky- my neapolitan mastiff rescue boy has become my English mastiff girl's seizure alert dog. Every time she has had a seizure since our neo has been here, he lets us know anywhere from a few hours to a full day before she starts seizing, and this is with NO special training whatsoever for him. When she finishes seizing, he always gets a blanket and drags it over and covers her up then lays beside her til she is ready to get up and get moving again. (Both are 18 months old, and have been inseparable since he arrived in May)
