Dr. Khuly, I imagined your site to be parallel with on-line New England Journal of Medicine.
The virtual hospital could be divided into 2 sections: Q&A as it already appears, and actual "brief cases" such as appear on specialty site "what is 'your' diagnosis" or similar.

I love the guest posts and I suppose all of our comments would be considered "editorials". I think you categorize the blogs/subjects nicely----!

Barbara: That's a great idea on the Virtual Vet Hospital.

And Yes!! New Captcha on the way!

Well, I'd be happy just to be sure I get the email--over and over I would stop getting it, re-subscribe, then stop getting it. Finally just gave up. Then a few days ago, it started coming again. Hope it continues!

Judy: The email is as fickle as the rest of the blog's current infrastructure. Don't get your hopes up on getting it consistently until the whole shebang is rewritten. Thanks for letting me know you like it. By the way, was it bothering you when I was posting twice a day?

Dr. Patty Khuly August 4th, 2008 10:34:00 AM

I don't mind twice daily posts. Means I am more likely to find something to comment on.

FWIW, the page is a little busy - the right pane has great content, but maybe reduce the number of items listed under each heading. When you navigate to the page, you can find the links there.

Thanks, Robin!

As a volunteer with Florida Boxer Rescue, I'm just tickled to see the picture of the "smart" Boxer attached to this entry. I do so enjoy Dolittler.

Must admit my own two boxers (long gone, may they rest peacefully) were fairly silly creatures. But then, I've never been one for too-smart dogs. The one smart dog I had was a pit bull. I swear she could do the trigonometry required to tree a raccoon in her sleep.

Patty - One thing I like about some blogs is that you can vote on the comments. So silly posters get voted down (not that you suffer too much from that ... yet), good posters get voted up over time. Check out www.Engadget.com for an example of what I mean.

I welcome as many posts per day that you can write. This, dogster, and craigslist are my must -sees every time I get on the net.
